Woodstock Vermont Wedding

Kelsey and Josh had a one of kind intimate Vermont wedding, I would even call it a “micro wedding”. Their day was filled with adventure and traditional elements, a perfect blend for a wedding I’ll never forget. I took a photojournalist approach to document their day. It’s always magical to see how a wedding day unfolds, and then to relive it again through photographs.

We started the day hiking to their ceremony location, where Kelsey got ready in the woods. It felt like something out of a fairy tale. They were surrounded by their families and dogs, married by Kelsey’s brother on top of a mountain in Woodstock Vermont. Their ceremony was filled with many stories, laughs , happy tears and a special song written just for them. The afternoon was spent having a picnic and cooling off in the river, until the rain started to roll in. The weather cleared by the time we got to their home, for Josh to carry his bride over the threshold, afterwards they shared first dance.

Small intimate weddings have a special place in my heart as a photographer. Kelsey and Josh it was truly an honor to be a small part of your day. Wishing you a lifetime of happiness, health and adventure.
